Fees
 

Fees are set by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at $125.00 in the town of the Justice’s residence (Westford) or $150.00 outside of town (Effective 3-31-09).  Most justices, myself included, charge additionally for an initial pre-marriage consultation, customization of the ceremony and its preparation, additional meetings, travel time, rehearsals and special requirements. My services are comprehensive and you will be made aware of all charges at the time of booking. A fifty (50%) percent non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date, with the balance and marriage license due at least 3 days before the ceremony. On your wedding day, I will organize the members of the wedding party for the processional and recessional, direct special guests, including the readers, to their assigned seats, cue the musicians to begin the processional and recessional music, and offer assistance to the photographer and videographer, if needed.

Pre-nuptial conference:

The prenuptial conference provides an opportunity to introduce myself to you. The main objective, however, is to get to know you in an effort to create a highly customized ceremony that reflects your personality and style. You may select one of my ceremonies, or choose to write your own. There is no additional charge for assisting you with the writing of your ceremony and vows. The conference also allows us to begin planning and discussing the details of your ceremony, including musical selections for the processional and recessional, readings, and, if desired, the incorporation of special traditions such as sand ceremonies, unity candles, hand fastening ceremonies, and breaking of the glass. There is a $75.00 (non-refundable) fee for this conference.

Rehearsal fee:

I will perform a dry run of the ceremony including the processional, recessional and readings. My fee for a wedding rehearsal is $150.00 or, if in Westford, $125.00.
